Authorized Training Course
AIPMM has several Authorized Training Partners around the world. All of our training partners offer in-person courses and several also offer self-study online courses that can be completed from anywhere in the world. All courses include the online certification exam.
Fees vary by partner and course to meet a variety of budgets.

Exam without an Authorized Training Course
Here are the steps for taking a certification exam without an official course of study.
Please note that only the Certified Product Manager® and Certified Product Marketing Manager™ exams are available without an official course of study.
1. Purchase membership with AIPMM. You can do that here: https://myaipmm.com/collections/membership
Cost is between $125 and $225 depending on the membership level you choose
2. Purchase the certification exam. You can take CPM/CPMM without an official course of study. You can purchase them here:
Each exam voucher costs $395 and allows you two attempts at the exam
3. Choose your own path of study. Take any courses and read any books you feel will help prepare you to sit for this exam. AIPMM does not provide any training course materials but we do have a list of recommended books: https://aipmm.com/books
4. When you are ready to sit for the certification exam you can register for the certification exam pre-call within the AIPMM Member Zone. During this phone call an exam technician will call you to go over the exam and answer any questions you have about the exam. At the end of the call they will work with you to set a date/time for you to sit for the certification exam.
